5th Annual Community Shred On Site Day Coming this October 2018!
On Saturday 20th October 2018 as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival we will host our fifth annual Community Shred On Site Day.
Where: Elwood Foreshore Car Park – Opposite Elwood Life Saving Club
Time: 10am – 1pm
Free event: Gold coin donation per archive box with all proceeds going to Elwood Life Saving Club. Maximum of 5 archive boxes per person.
Last year was a huge success! We shredded over 7 tonne of confidential documents and raised over $2,700 for the Elwood Life Saving Club. Hundreds of people attended. The community had the opportunity to bring their confidential documents to be shredded and to watch it being done on the CCTV truck monitor. They brought unwanted bills, bank statements, old tax returns and other personal information. All shredded paper is then 100% recycled.
