Where: Elwood Foreshore Car Park – Opposite Elwood Life Saving Club
Time: 10am – 1pm
Free event: $5 or gold coin donation per archive box with all proceeds going to Elwood Life Saving Club. Maximum of 5 archive boxes per person. Feel free to bring your documents in bags or any box size. The donation can be worked out on the rough volume equivalent to an archive box.
Last year was a huge success! We shredded over 7 tonne of confidential documents and raised over $2,700 for the Elwood Life Saving Club. Hundreds of people attended. The community had the opportunity to bring their confidential documents to be shredded and to watch it being done on the CCTV truck monitor. They brought unwanted bills, bank statements, old tax returns and other personal information. All shredded paper is then 100% recycled.
