FREE Community Shred Day
A Community Shred Day provides the opportunity to declutter and protect yourself against identity theft in a safe and secure way. Identity crime costs Australians more than $2.2 – $2.6 billion a year. This year alone, 5,500 Australians have become victims of identity theft.
October Community Shred On Site Day a Huge Success!
In October 2017 as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival we hosted our fourth annual Community Shred On Site Day.
The day was a huge success! We shredded over 7 tonne of confidential documents and raised over $2,700 for the Elwood Life Saving Club. Hundreds of people attended. The community had the opportunity to bring their confidential documents to be shredded and to watch it being done on the CCTV truck monitor. They brought unwanted bills, bank statements, old tax returns and other personal information. All shredded paper is then 100% recycled.
Back by popular demand!
Watch this space for our 2018 date for our annual Community Shred On Site Day.
